I love teaching at Kingsview because of the way faith is woven naturally into everyday school life. Watching students discover their God-given strengths, encourage one another, and grow into compassionate young people is one of the greatest blessings of teaching at Kingsview. love the genuine relationships that naturally develop within our small school community. They create opportunities for meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, and honest reflection that challenge and inspire both students and teachers. These moments of growth, trust, and discovery are some of the greatest joys of teaching at Kingsview. It is a privilege to partner with families and colleagues in nurturing not only academic growth but also the character and faith of each child.

I have always had a heart for helping children grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and discover the joy of learning. I completed my teaching studies through the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa, and qualified as a Mind Moves Instructor in 2019. Before moving to New Zealand, I taught High School, Primary School and at ECE schools in Johannesburg and Pretoria at and served as Head of Department at a large state school. I also worked as a SBST Coordinator, supporting learners, teachers, and families through remedial intervention and learning support. I have a special love for remedial teaching and enjoy helping students who need extra support to experience success. In 2023, I began my New Zealand journey by managing City Impact Church ECE in Queenstown before joining Kingsview School in January 2024 as the Rākau Class teacher.

Originally from Pretoria, South Africa I am one of four children. I stepped into my calling and teaching career in 2002 (High School and ECE). In 2009 I started teaching at a Primary School and since then I have felt inspired, poured out and thankful every day! In 2023 my husband, two yorkies and I immigrated to New Zealand and we are blessed to call this our home!
