KingsView School is a close-knit school of 95 students in the stunning Wakatipu Basin. Our roll is steadily growing, we have single-cell teaching spaces and our staff are collaborative. Our work is inspired by love (aroha), faith (whakapono) in Jesus Christ, and gospel hope (tūmanako).

Role Overview We seek a passionate educator for our Manu Class (a composite Y4-Y5 class), based in a well lit classroom overlooking Lake Wakatipu.

Special Character Requirements:

Applicants must have the willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Christian Special Character of KingsView School. You will enjoy promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview to support and grow our students’ faith. All teaching staff are expected to actively uphold, protect, and enhance the school's special Christian character.

Teacher Bonding Scheme

This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS). The eligible teacher recruited into this vacancy will receive annual payments accumulating to a maximum of $40,000 (before tax) after 5 years. See Teacher Bonding Scheme for more information.

Role overview We seek a passionate educator to release our teachers for their Classroom Release Time. This permanent 0.5 position includes teaching each Y1-Y8 class 5 times per term for a total of 25 days per term.
